Introduction
Jordan Gilleland Marchak, PhD, ABPP, is a Behavioral Scientist at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine. She also serves as a member of the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.
Dr. Marchak received her PhD in Psychology from University of Georgia in Athens, Ga. She completed her residency in clinical psychology at Medical College of Georgia and Department of Veteran's Affairs Medical Center and her postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Research
Dr. Marchak’s clinical research focuses on healthcare self-management, healthy lifestyle behaviors and psychosocial functioning. Her research also seeks to improve patients’ access to evidence-based supportive care programming by leveraging technology and implementation science methods.
