Linda Cole, Chief Nursing Officer
Linda Cole, MBA, BSN, RN, FACHE, NEA-BC, is the Chief Nursing Officer of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She serves as the lead executive for nursing across the System. In addition to serving as CNO, Linda was also instrumental in overseeing the opening of Arthur M. Blank Hospital. A native of Cumming and a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, Cole began her career at Children’s as a staff nurse more than 30 years ago. Since joining Children’s in 1985, she has worked at all three campuses, serving in multiple leadership roles throughout her tenure. Over the years, Cole has led numerous high-profile projects, including our Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center designation, the integration of the Hughes Spalding campus from concept through operations, the opening of Children’s at Forsyth and the path to Magnet recognition.
In addition to her role on the LaGrange College board of trustees, Cole has served and continues to serve on several community boards, including the Cumming-Forsyth Community Chamber of Commerce, the Georgia Trauma Commission and Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities.
In her spare time, Cole enjoys running, supporting two of her favorite college football programs—LaGrange Panthers and University of Georgia Bulldogs—and traveling. She resides in Cumming with her husband, Charles. Together, they have four adult children and five grandchildren.
