Introduction
Dr. Guglani is a CF clinician researcher in the Emory Pediatric CF Center and leads the Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. His main areas of research focus are related to various aspects of CF, ranging from advanced lung function techniques such as Lung Clearance Index, to imaging (using scoring techniques to quantify regional lung damage), to CF diagnostics (novel medical device for sweat testing), to translational studies related to lung inflammation in early stages of CF lung disease (IMPEDE-CF Study). He has been involved in mentoring several pulmonary fellows and pediatric residents for their research and has authored more than 70 research publications and book chapters. In his spare time, he loves to pursue 3D printing, running, traveling, and going on long hikes with his wife and two teenaged kids.
