Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta cares for more than half a million patients annually and operates three hospitals in metro Atlanta that specialize in caring just for children and teens:

  • 529 staffed beds
  • 20 neighborhood locations, including:
    • Five Urgent Care Centers  
    • Marcus Autism Center
  • 43 telemedicine locations around Georgia
  • More than 8,200 employees
  • Access to more than 1,700 pediatric physicians representing more than 60 pediatric specialties and programs
  • 6,500 volunteers

Children’s is the largest Medicaid provider in the state, serving more than 185,000 children who could not cover the costs of their care in 2011. We are committed to providing medically needed healthcare to the children of Georgia.

Measuring Our Impact

Lifesaving work is happening at Children's—from heart transplants to surgeries to remove brain tumors. Children’s is the largest pediatric provider in Georgia—and one of the largest in the country. In 2012, we treated children from all 159 Georgia counties. It doesn't stop there.
