Mandibulofacial dysostosis

A disorder that appears in approximately one in 50,000 births, causing abnormalities in the bony arch and soft tissues of the mouth, nasal cavities and neck. In addition to dramatic bowing of the jaw and pharynx and the obvious dental anomalies, the condition may affect the structures, position and function of the eyes and ears, as well as present breathing and feeding problems.
