The Marcus Autism Center Language Services provides intensive one-on-one services to children with autism and related disorders. Using applied behavior analysis (ABA), our staff's goal is to improve:
- Social skills
- Preacademic skills
We also work to limit any behavior that conflicts with a traditional learning environment.
The Language and Learning Clinic offers services in three different programs:
- Language and Learning Clinic Day Treatment program offers intensive help for your child while at Marcus Autism Center. Admissions to this program are offered in half-day slots from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday.
- Language and Learning Clinic Home-based program provides one-on-one intervention similar to services provided in the Language and Learning Clinic, but services are provided in the student’s home, day care or school setting. Sessions can be scheduled 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
- Language and Learning Clinic After-School program is designed for children who thrive in a regular school setting, who could also benefit from further development of important skills. Sessions available 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
