The Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta draws patients from all over the country. In an effort to meet the needs of families traveling great distances to receive care, transitional or temporary housing options are offered.
Current housing options have been carefully chosen for safety, cleanliness, amenities and distance from Children's. The costs of these housing options have been negotiated at a significant discount. Some, like the Ronald McDonald House, are offered at little or no cost. Your child’s social worker and healthcare team at the Aflac Cancer Center will help you with the screening and selection process.
