Any survivor of childhood cancer who has been off treatment for two years should be enrolled in a cancer survivorship program.
What Every Childhood Cancer Survivor Should Know
Cancer survivors should be their own advocate. Every cancer survivor should know:
- What type of cancer they had
- What type of treatment they received, including:
- Type of chemotherapy
- Type of radiation
- How much radiation
- What late effects they are at risk for
- How they should be monitored
