For children or young adults who have, or are at risk for, pulmonary hypertension, the Sibley Heart Center Pediatric Pulmonary Hypertension Program offers a range of services from imaging tests to long-term treatment and follow-up care.
Services
Services include comprehensive evaluation and management of pulmonary hypertension:
Assessments
- Echocardiograms
- Electrocardiograms
- Radiographic studies (X-ray, computed tomography [CT], magnetic resonance imaging [MRI] and nuclear medicine scans)

- Exercise and walk testing

Long-term and follow-up care
Pulmonary hypertension affects many different body systems in most patients. Doctors will work closely with your child’s doctor and other specialists to ensure your child gets coordinated care. We offer care options from oral medicines to continuous intravenous (I.V.) medicine.
