Concussion Materials

By downloading the Concussion Reference Guide (the “Guide”), you acknowledge that Children’s owns the copyright to these materials and that Children’s hereby grants you a fully paid-up, non-exclusive license to use the  Guide solely for your internal non-commercial use to promote compliance with the Return to Play Act of 2013 and appropriate concussion management.  With the exception of the Concussion Policy Template (which can be freely modified and used without attribution to Children’s), the license does not grant permission to modify the content of the materials or to remove Children’s copyright notice and logo.  Where indicated, however, schools and organizations are permitted to co-brand certain of the materials. 

 

The Guide does not constitute specific medical advice.  In the case of a concern, a medical professional should be consulted.  In the event of an emergency, you should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.  By licensing the Guide for these purposes, Children’s is not assuming any duty to update the Guide, and you are responsible for reviewing and approving these materials for use as specified herein.
