We have pediatric-trained doctors who are highly skilled and experienced in treating infants, children and adolescents with all types of liver disease—from the most common to those rarely seen outside of the top pediatric centers.

Liver Transplant Program
With an average of 23 pediatric liver transplants each year, we are ranked among the top pediatric liver transplant programs in the country.
Liver Tumor Program
In collaboration with the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center, we have one of the only pediatric liver tumor programs in the Southeast with a coordinated, integrated team of subspecialists, including oncology, transplant, general surgery, radiology and pathology.
Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) Clinic
Led by Miriam Vos, M.D., a leader in the field of pediatric nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, this clinic is dedicated to children with NAFLD—the most common liver disease in children.
The Strong4Life Clinic is a multifaceted program for obese and overweight kids and for their families. By combining clinical, behavioral, educational and family support services, patients are given the tools needed to make crucial lifestyle changes.
