Children's Telemedicine Program Wins Partner of the Year

Georgia Partnership for TleHealth

The Children’s Telemedicine Program was awarded Partner of the Year at the Georgia Partnership for TeleHealth annual conference in March 2012. The award was given based on:

  • diversity in the number of pediatric specialty services available via telemedicine
  • overall coordination of care
  • high level of service provided to patients who live outside of Atlanta

“Receiving Georgia Partnership for TeleHealth’s (GPT) Partner of the Year award is a great honor and designates Children’s as providing pediatric specialty care to children within the state of Georgia who may not have access in their communities to pediatric specialists. The entire telemedicine team at Children’s is highly appreciative of the recognition this award brings and we look forward to working hand-in-hand with GPT on future telemedicine endeavors.”
