Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Opens Seventh Metro Atlanta Urgent Care Center in Gwinnett County


DACULA, GA. (April 11, 2017) – To better serve children and families in Gwinnett County, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is opening a new Urgent Care Center in Dacula on April 11. Through this Urgent Care Center, Children’s will continue to support community primary care physicians by providing after-hours patient care, maintaining their commitment of strong communication with primary care providers in the community.

Children’s at Hamilton Creek will have nine exam rooms, two procedure rooms and two intake rooms that will allow Children’s pediatric specialists to treat minor illnesses and injuries, as well as on-site lab and X-ray for patients. The new Urgent Care Center will offer access to the expertise and resources at Children’s, including 60 pediatric specialties.

This location is one of 28 neighborhood locations and the seventh Urgent Care Center in the Children’s system, which also includes three hospitals—Children's EglestonHughes Spalding and Scottish Rite hospitals—and Marcus Autism Center.

Children’s at Hamilton Creek Urgent Care Center is located at 2240 Hamilton Creek Parkway, Suite 600, Dacula, GA 30019. Urgent care is open weekdays 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., weekends 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and holidays 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Children’s accepts walk-in patients during normal business hours.
