CME Opportunities

You’ll find a variety of CME opportunities offered at each of our main campuses and other locations throughout the Atlanta metro area.

Grand Rounds

Grand rounds are hospital-based round tables and conferences that are held regularly at each of the main hospital campuses. Primary care providers, nurses, physician assistants and other health professionals are invited to attend.

Strong4Life provider training

Children’s developed the Strong4Life Provider Training Program to help providers initiate conversations about healthy habits and obesity prevention, and to educate parents early in the life of their child. Our training programs offer evidence-based, actionable information about motivational interviewing techniques, goal setting, BMI tracking and childhood obesity management protocols.

Strong4Life Maintenance of Certification

Strong4Life offers an American Board of Pediatrics MOC Program incorporating motivational interviewing and goal-setting techniques to use with families to improve the effectiveness of childhood obesity counseling. Created in collaboration with Kids Health First Pediatric Alliance, this MOC Program is available to all board-certified Georgia pediatricians seeking MOC Part 4 Credit.

Telehealth Distance Learning

The Children’s Telemedicine Program offers distance learning opportunities using our advanced technology and specialized medical video capabilities. Presentations occur the second Tuesday of every month from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
