Annual Research and Education Report
The Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University 2025 Research and Education Report: Championing Pediatric Science and Training showcases lifesaving research and exemplary medical training conducted at the partner institutions. The Emory Department of Pediatrics ranked in the top three nationally for National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding in 2025 and 11 new researchers joined the team, including luminaries advancing AI in pediatrics. Children’s also opened the Marcus Center for Cellular Therapy, one of the only pediatric labs of its kind in the country within the walls of a children’s hospital, to facilitate the manufacturing and delivery of next-generation cellular and gene therapies.
