Arthur M. Blank Hospital
  • 19-story, 2 million-square-foot facility 
  • 446 patient beds
  • 70-acre campus, including more than 20 acres of lush green space 
  • Includes a Central Utility Plant and a South Tower with outpatient clinics
Emergency Department
  • Nearly 70 Emergency Department beds, including rooms for behavioral and mental health and trauma patients
  • Emergency Department rooms that are about 25% larger than our current exam rooms
  • Dedicated rooms in our Special Care Unit for treatment of patients with potentially highly infectious diseases
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
  • 60 private rooms 
  • Rooms specifically designed to accommodate twins, as well as bedside procedures and surgeries
Critical Care
  • 60 Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) private rooms and 48 Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) private rooms 
  • CICU rooms with surgical lights needed for bedside procedures and surgeries
  • 24 Technology-Dependent Intensive Care Unit (TDICU) patient rooms, more than double the rooms currently at Egleston Hospital
Cancer and Blood Disorders
  • Nearly 100 patient rooms and 145 outpatient clinic spaces
  • Two suites for I-131 MIBG therapy, with lead-lined walls to prevent unintended radiation exposure, a connecting parent suite and audio-visual equipment to allow nursing teams to communicate with and monitor the patient through a live stream
  • Counter-height charting alcoves between patient rooms
Surgical Services
  • 22 operating rooms, including dedicated rooms for trauma surgeries 
  • 55 day surgery rooms
  • Fully integrated technology
Cardiac
  • More than 115,000 square feet of space dedicated to cardiac care
  • Three specially designed cardiovascular operating rooms (CVORs)
  • Catheterization lab with hybrid capability, allowing OR procedures and catheterization procedures to occur at the same time
Environmental Services
  • New, 2 million-square-foot facility with a variety of work spaces and cleaning specialties
  • Thoughtful consideration for cleaning equipment and assignments with a team approach 
  • Environmental Services team included in Emergency Department design process 
Food Services
  • Space for company-sponsored, self-paced culinary education opportunities
  • Exposure to a variety of experiences, including patient and retail culinary services
  • State-of-the-art equipment, including a robotic food delivery system
