Introduction
Susi Hupp, MD, MSCR, is a Cardiac Intensivist and Critical Care Medicine Physician at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Heart Center and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine. She is the Director of Education for the Children’s Heart Center and also serves as Associate Fellowship Director for Critical Care Medicine, Associate Fellowship Director for Cardiology and Fellowship Director for Cardiac Intensive Care.
Dr. Hupp currently splits her clinical time between the Cardiac ICU and the Pediatric ICU and is the physician lead for the Cardiac Acute Care Unit Simulation Team. Her passion lies in education, mentoring, and team dynamics. Her research focuses on learning theory, curriculum design, team components and team psychology, and she is also active in clinical research surrounding patients with single ventricle physiology and post-operative care.
