Introduction
Tatiana Patsimas, MD, a Sports Medicine Pediatrician at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, is a native of Tullahoma, Tenn. After teaching middle school in Hartford, Conn., Dr. Patsimas pursued a medical degree at East Tennessee State University.
Following medical school, Dr. Patsimas completed her pediatric residency and her sports medicine fellowship at the University of Colorado. During her fellowship training, she served as a team physician for the women's lacrosse, soccer, basketball and volleyball programs at Denver University.
As a former ballet, jazz and lyrical dancer, Dr. Patsimas has a special interest in female athletes. Her clinical interests include dance, cheerleading and gymnastics injuries as well as concussion management.
Dr. Patsimas is excited to be back in the Southeast and to care for the pediatric athletes of Georgia. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, dancing and reading.
