Presley Nichols, MD, MS, is a Pediatric Endocrinologist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and serves as Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Nichols joined Children’s and Emory in 2023 after completing her fellowship training at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Prior to her fellowship, Dr. Nichols earned her medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and received a Master of Science in Biostatistics from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.

Dr. Nichols’ areas of clinical expertise include pediatric diabetes, differences in sexual differentiation and puberty-related conditions. She has conducted clinical research in metabolic outcomes following in-utero COVID-19 exposure, efficacy of hybrid closed loop insulin pumps and iodine-related thyroid disease.

In her free time, Dr. Nichols enjoys baking, running and spending time with her family.
