Introduction
Rachel Linnemann, MD, is a pediatric pulmonologist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University. Her clinical interests include cystic fibrosis, high risk asthma, and aerodigestive disorders. She is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology. She received her M.D. from Yale University and completed her residency in pediatrics and fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr Linnemann is the Director of the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University Cystic Fibrosis Care Center and Co-Director of the Emory CF Clinical Trials Therapeutic Development Center. She has served as a national co-leader for quality improvement projects in the CF Learning Network. She also serves as a member of the Georgia Newborn Screening and Genetics Advisory Committee where she leads the CF Subcommittee. Her research interests include CF clinical trials, CFTR modulators, quality improvement, and newborn screening and health equity.
