Linda Cole, M.B.A., B.S.N., R.N., F.A.C.H.E., is Senior Vice President, Operations and Chief Nursing Officer at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. As the leader of operations for the 575-bed pediatric healthcare system, Cole leads innovative strategies to ensure the highest level quality and service are delivered to the more than 365,000 patients served annually at Children’s. As Chief Nursing Officer she is responsible for nursing care, interprofessional clinical care and nursing research for the system.

Cole began her career at Children’s as a staff nurse and has worked at all three campuses in multiple leadership roles in her 30 years of service to the organization. In her previous role as Vice President of Ambulatory Services, she oversaw the Egleston campus receiving a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center designation, as well as the opening of the Children’s at Forsyth neighborhood location.

Her dedication to the community extends outside Children’s. Cole was appointed by Speaker of the House, David Ralston, to the Georgia Trauma Care Network Commission where she serves as Vice-Chair. She also serves as a Trustee for LaGrange College, the Chairman of the Student Affairs Sub-committee and on the Leadership Council for the Panther Club. She has previously served as the Chairman of the Cumming-Forsyth Chamber of Commerce and the Secretary for the Board of Leadership Forsyth.

A native of Forsyth County, Cole earned a master’s degree in business administration from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia.

Cole and her husband, Charles, live in Forsyth County and have four children.
