Urgent Care and Emergency Wait Times

We understand you want your child to get the quickest care possible. To help you make that decision, we post estimated wait times for our five Urgent Care centers and three Emergency Departments. In case of an urgent concern or emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department right away.

Children’s no longer uses the rapid flu test in its hospitals or urgent care centers. Antiviral medicines, like Tamiflu, are only given to people who have an increased risk of severe illness from the flu. Let us help you make the decision on where your child needs to be.

Save your Spot

We are piloting a new online scheduling system at three of our Urgent Care Center locations: Children’s at Forsyth, Children’s at North Point and Children’s at Town Center. This new system allows you to select a time that you would like to come to the center, enabling you to get in line before you even leave the house. Learn more or select “Save Your Spot” to reserve your place in line.
