Emergency

Girl in cast

Our Emergency Departments are 20 percent faster than the average of 33 leading national pediatric hospitals. We also treat more kids than anyone else in the nation—more than 200,000 visits a year.1 So, we know how to treat everything from broken bones to brain injuries.

Children's offers pediatric emergency/trauma care at our three hospitals:

We know that children aren't just small adults. That's why our emergency medicine pediatricians are all board certified and specially trained to care for children and teens. Our emergency doctors, nurses, technicians and other medical professionals also use special medical procedures, supplies and equipment. So, your family can rest assured that your child is getting the expert care he deserves.

First hand experience from grateful parents:

We had to take our son when he was 4 days old to the ER here...there was quick complimentary valet parking and our son was seen within 10 minutes. We waited less than 5 minutes to begin paperwork. This hospital is amazing!

I was there last Friday...in at 7 out before 8...truly amazed by how diligent and amazing you guys are...keep up the great work!
