Camp No Limb-itations

Camp No Limb-itations
For Children with a Limb Deficiency

Camp No Limb-itations gives children a chance make memories and build lifelong friendships.

This camp is an opportunity for children with limb deficiencies to meet others with similar conditions. The Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Orthotics and Prosthetics Program and Camp Twin Lakes have partnered to host this week-long summer camp that will feature a wide range of activities for campers.

Inspirational presentations will also help build strong character and self-confidence.

The 2014 registration deadline has been extended. Please complete our camper interest form.

2015 Camp Dates

Sunday, June 7 to Friday, June 12

Volunteers arrive June 6, and campers arrive June 7.

  • Campers

      - Camper Fee: Camp No Limb-itations asks for a donation of $100; however, we want every child to be able to attend. If the suggested donation for camp is an issue, please indicate on your application that you are interested in a scholarship. The cost to Children's and Camp Twin Lakes to send a child to camp is approximately $1,000. Additional donations are always welcome

      - Medical Staff: Camp No Limb-itations will have clinical staff available 24 hours a day. Our volunteers consist of staff from Children's, as well as community volunteers committed to making Camp No Limb-itations a special week for your child.

Parent Volunteers: While we are thankful parents have expressed interest in volunteering at Camp No Limb-itations, it is camp policy that parents do not volunteer during the camp session. We strongly believe camp is an excellent opportunity for your child to gain independence and self-esteem. If you would like to volunteer before camp, your time and skills would be greatly appreciated.

Please complete the Camper Interest Form. After you submit the interest form, we will send you an online application to complete. The interest form is not your application.

      - A legal guardian of the child must complete the application.

      - Submit follow-up documents. The online application must be completed before submitting these follow up documents.

      - We reserve spots on a first come, first serve basis. Apply soon to help ensure your child can attend. Each camper's application and follow up documents will be reviewed by a medical committee to determine acceptance. Anyone who does not submit the application and follow up documents by the deadlines will automatically be placed on a waitlist.

      Financial Assistance

Scholarships are available, if needed. Request a scholarship on your Camper Application Form.
