Scoliosis Screening Program for Adolescents

Recognition and Education are the First Steps
in Understanding an Overlooked Condition

Our Scoliosis Screening Program has provided education and care for adolescents and their families for more than 20 years. We have specialty clinics at our five Urgent Care Centers for adolescents who have a positive screening in school or at their doctor’s office.

Coordinated by a registered nurse, our clinics:

  • Give the family information based on the patient’s signs of scoliosis.
  • Provide an X-ray if needed.
  • Give the family and their doctor results and advice on the same day the patient is seen in the clinic.
