Asthma affects about 9% of Georgia's children and is also the reason for about 470,000 missed school days every year. The World Asthma Day Poster Contest was held to bring awareness to schools about asthma, managing triggers and handling asthma emergencies. This year, World Asthma Day is May 6th. We hope you take time that day to learn more about asthma and asthma management in schools.
