Meet the Team

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta has full-time pediatric urologic surgeons and postgraduate fellowship trainees who provide comprehensive care for children with the full spectrum of urologic disorders.

At Children's, nurses, surgeons and anesthesiologists have received specialized training in pediatric surgical specialty services. The pediatric surgeons focus on delivering the best possible outcomes at every stage of surgery. Many studies have shown that surgeons devoted to the care of children deliver better surgical outcomes. It is not only the surgery that is important, but the overall care and management of the child during hospitalization. The pediatric urologists operate at all four of Children's surgical locations.

These pediatric urologists are on the clinical faculty of the Emory University School of Medicine Department of Urology. The physicians provide pediatric training as a part of the Emory University Urology Residency Program.

We are actively involved in clinical research both at Children’s and Emory as well as basic science research coordinated with scientists at Georgia Institute of Technology, Emory University and Children’s. Our fellowship is the oldest continuously active training program in the southeastern United States.

We are proud of the care we provide children with urologic disorders and the education we provide to the next generation of pediatric urologic surgeons. We continue to strive to make it the highest level of care and education possible.
