Pediatric Continuing Medical Education (CME)

Recognizing physicians as lifelong learners, Children's strives to provide valuable pediatric CME opportunities and effective resources. The Physician Education Department at Children's designs and coordinates conferences and workshops for healthcare professionals.

Learning Needs Assessment

Please take 3 minutes to complete the physician learning needs assessment, which helps your CME committee and staff to develop education tailored to meet your needs. If you have additional questions about the survey or how to plan a CME activity, please email Annie Mullins.

Congratulations to Children’s Physician Education Team

Children's continuing medical education (CME) program has been surveyed by the Medical Association of Georgia and awarded Accreditation with Commendation for six years as a provider of continuing medical education for physicians. The achievement demonstrates the program's compliance with the rigorous accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education.

Children's CME team partners with physicians to plan, develop and offer education targeting pediatricians and providers within the organization and in the community. Education includes regularly scheduled series like grand rounds and tumor boards, as well as annual conferences like New Horizons in Pediatrics. The CME team currently is partnering with Technical Training to develop and offer on-demand education to meet the needs of our many community providers.
