Research is a cornerstone of the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta mission to enhance the lives of children. In conjunction with Emory University School of Medicine, Georgia Tech and Morehouse, Children’s seeks answers to the most challenging childhood medical conditions through teaching and research.

Fighting for the health of Georgia’s kids

Children who are overweight are now suffering from diseases once seen only in adults, such as hypertension, liver disease and Type 2 diabetes. That's why Children’s launched Strong4Life, a wellness movement designed to ignite societal change and reverse the epidemic of childhood obesity and its associated diseases in Georgia.

Northside Family Fun Flick

Date:	Saturday, April 27, 2013 -
Time:	5:30 - 7:30 pm - Fun Fair Around 8:00 pm - Madagascar 3 on the lawn Rain date - May 4th, 2013 Tickets are $1 per Fun Fair activity or 25 tickets for $20. Tickets will be sold at the event for cash or check only. Food is cash only.
Location:	Beaverbrook Park
Tickets:	Purchase a Family Sponsorship Fun fair and movie tickets will be sold a la carte at the event, but a $100 family sponsorship entitles you to unlimited fun fair tickets for your children and movie tickets for all members of your immediate family. Individual tickets will be sold at the event for cash or check only, no credit cards.

About This Atlanta Charity Event Northside Friends is pleased to announce that on Saturday, April 27th (rain date of May 4th), we will once again be holding our Family Fun Fair and Flick to benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Join us at Beaverbrook Park from 5:30 - 7:30 pm for the Family Fun Fair and stay to watch Madagascar 3 on a giant outdoor screen in the park after dark (around 8:00 pm). There will be food and fun for the whole family with games and activities for all ages including a new Toddler Zone! Come out and support your local FRIENDS group and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
