College Hospital Volunteer Program

Make a Difference in Your Community

The Children's College Volunteer program is for currently enrolled college students looking for a way to help children in their metro Atlanta community. Volunteers are placed in areas throughout the hospital, ranging from customer service to working directly with patients. After the completion of 60 volunteer hours, students will have the ability to apply to our shadowing opportunity for a chance to shadow/observe a staff member in their field of study for a day (available for Scottish Rite and Egleston volunteers only).

Each session lasts 12 weeks during the fall and spring semesters. The program is not offered during the summer. Candidates are required to volunteer one day a week for three hours. A minimum 30-hour commitment is required.
