Working Mother magazine announced Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as a 2018 Working Mother 100 Best Company. Children’s was named to the list for the 14th year due to a variety of positive programs, such as child care access, female career advancement, and manager training and accountability. The magazine specifically mentions Children’s wellness offerings, including the TriPossible employee race training program, as well as opportunities for flexible scheduling.

he sickle cell program at the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta has been named the lead coordinating center for a National Institute of Health (NIH) study to determine the safety and effectiveness of bone marrow transplants (BMT) compared to standard care therapies to cure sickle cell disease in young adult patients.
