Introduction

Holly Bauser-Heaton, MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine. She previously attended Indiana University for Medical and Graduate School. She completed her pediatrics residency at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and completed a Pediatric Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. Her clinical focus is interventional cardiology performing ASD closures, balloon atrial septostomy, percutaneous pulmonary valve replacement, vascular ballooning and stenting, valvuloplasty, complex pulmonary vein interventions and peripheral pulmonary artery assessment and rehabilitation. From a research standpoint, she has interest in major aortopulmonary collaterals, pulmonary artery rehabilitation and assessment as well as valvar growth. She enjoys advocacy and is involved with health care access concerns for the pediatric population in Georgia.
