Introduction

Marcos Mills, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Mills previously attended the University of Florida for medical school before his residency at Stanford University. His pediatric cardiology fellowship and his advanced year in Cardiac Intensive Care training were completed at Stanford University and he now cares for children with congenital and acquired heart disease in the intensive care unit. Most recently, Dr. Mills’ primary scholarly focus has been on medical education and communication skills training for physicians. He considers his role in the CICU a privilege and an opportunity to meaningfully contribute to the lives of his patients and their families. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, grilling, playing guitar, and exercising.
