Physical Wellness

As physicians we know that eating right and exercising are good for our bodies. Sometimes we are so busy taking care of everyone else that we don’t prioritize taking care of ourselves. That’s why we’ve developed activities such as our annual Physician Steps Challenge and provide healthy, tasty snacks in the physician lounges. Let’s help each other jump-start healthy habits.

2018 Medical Staff Steps Challenge

This year, Team Allis pulled ahead meeting their steps goal an average of 19 times during the month-long challenge.

Team Olaf was not far behind, meeting their goal an average of 15 times.

Check out this video featuring Dr. Wulkan, Surgeon in Chief, and learn why he thinks being active is important, and when and how he began incorporating physical activity into his busy schedule.
