Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the Atlanta Braves to Host the 22nd Annual Spring Classic Baseball Game at Truist Park
ATLANTA (March 6, 2025)—Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the Atlanta Braves are excited to announce the 22nd annual Spring Classic baseball game between the University of Georgia Bulldogs and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will return to Truist Park for the first time since 2019. Spring Classic will take place on Tuesday, April 15, at 7:00 p.m. at Truist Park and is the only game this spring between the rivals. There will be special opportunities for families to meet Braves mascot BLOOPER, Hope and Will, Buzz and Hairy Dawg during the game.
Since its inception, Spring Classic between the University of Georgia and Georgia Tech has raised more than $4 million dollars for Children’s and the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center.

The night will also be one of the first times families can experience the new Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Park, a 30,000-square-foot space full of interactive experiences for kids of all ages located at the Left Field Plaza at Truist Park. In partnership with the Atlanta Braves, this space features amenities designed specifically for kids and their families, such as specialized concessions and merchandise. It also features a new 480-square-foot board on the Delta Deck that allows families to keep up with the Braves game while simultaneously enjoying the Park, among other exciting and engaging activations.
