What Is the Children’s College Volunteer Program?
The Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta College Volunteer Program is for students who are currently enrolled in college and are looking for a way to help patients, families and staff at one of our three Children’s hospital campuses. Participants will immerse themselves in the Children’s environment by helping the kids and families in our community and will gain exposure to the medical field.
The 12-week program is traditionally offered during the fall and spring semesters. It is not offered during the summer. Students must be able to commit to a weekly, three-hour shift to participate. Three excused absences are allowed.
