The Judson L. Hawk Jr., MD, Clinic for Children—located on the sixth floor of the Center for Advanced Pediatrics—offers multispecialty outpatient treatment for children with a wide range of medical and social complexities. By housing several outpatient services together, families have a place where they can receive coordinated care. This model builds upon the clinic concept that Judson L. Hawk Jr., MD, helped initiate more than 30 years ago.

About Judson L. Hawk Jr., MD
Widely respected for helping build Atlanta's pediatric medical community, Judson L. Hawk Jr., MD, cared for countless Atlanta families from all walks of life. After serving in World War II, Dr. Hawk fulfilled his dream of becoming a doctor for children, studying at the University of North Carolina and the Medical School of Georgia. In his long career, he practiced at Egleston and Scottish Rite hospitals. As a leader in President Carter's Atlanta Project among several professional associations and counselor and friend to many, he consistently raised awareness of children's needs. He spoke boldly, continually seeking community support for those who could not represent themselves.
