ATLANTA, GA (July 18, 2024) – Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is proud to host the 24th annual 95.5 WSB Care-a-Thon from July 25 through July 26 with Cox Media Group’s 95.5 WSB (WSB-AM/WSBB-FM). The two-day radio event, which helps fund family support services, research and the Fellowship Program at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, will feature stories of hope and inspiration from patient families and staff from throughout Georgia. Listeners will have the opportunity to make donations and purchase one-of-a-kind experiences throughout the WSB Care-a-Thon.

This beloved radio tradition is hosted by Scott Slade, Clark Howard, Eric Von Haessler, Mark Arum, Erick Erickson, Shelley Wynter and the 95.5 WSB team. Since 2001, this radio event has raised more than $32 million for the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. Tune in to hear from special guests such as Dan Amos, Chief Executive Officer of Aflac Inc., John Smoltz and other notable Atlanta-based personalities.

Exciting items for bid:

  • An invitation for two (2) to join Erick Erickson for a night of bourbon tasting from his personal collection on Thursday, Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. at the WSB Studios. Guests will also dine on BBQ from a local favorite, Lane’s BBQ.
