Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta named to list of 100 Best Places to Work in IT


IDG’s Insider Pro and Computerworld recognize Children’s in 2021 rankings

ATLANTA (July 12, 2021) IDG’s Insider Pro and Computerworld announced today Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta was named a 2021 Best Places to Work in IT. Inclusion on this list for the signals Children’s as one of 100 top organizations that challenge their IT staffs while providing great benefits and compensation.

The Best Places to Work in IT list is an annual ranking of the top 100 work environments for technology professionals by Insider Pro and Computerworld. The list is compiled based on a comprehensive questionnaire regarding company offerings in categories such as benefits, career development, training and retention. In addition, IDG conducts extensive surveys of IT workers, and their responses factor heavily in determining the rankings.

The information technology center at Children’s brings together analysts, developers, technicians, engineers and information architects to manage every application and piece of sensitive digital data in order to protect patients’ health information. The IS&T team also works extensively in Epic, an electronic health record system, which Children's was on the forefront of implementing in the Atlanta area.
