Introduction
Bhargava Mullapudi, MD, FACS, is the Surgical Director of Pediatric Abdominal Transplant at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and serves as Associate Professor at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Mullapudi is one of only a few physicians in the country dually trained in pediatric surgery and transplant surgery. He is board-certified in general surgery, pediatric surgery and transplant surgery.
Dr. Mullapudi earned his medical degree at Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. He completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Following his residency training, he completed fellowships in pediatric surgery at the University of California San Diego/Rady Children’s Hospital, transplant surgery at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center/Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and pancreatic cancer research at Northwestern University.
