Adjowa Amevor, MD, is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She serves as Medical Director of Intestinal Rehabilitation at Children’s and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine. She joined Children’s and Emory in Dec. 2024.

Dr. Amevor earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and received her residency training at Beverly Knight Olsen Children’s Hospital. She completed a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterologyat Children’s Mercy Hospital and went on to complete an advanced fellowship in advanced nutrition with a focus on intestinal rehabilitation at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

Dr. Amevor’s area of interest includes intestinal rehabilitation. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, engaging in fitness activities and travelling.
