Introduction
Brandon Harden, MD, joined the Children's Heart Center in 2013 after completing his pediatric cardiology training. He grew up in a small town, Rincon, just outside of Savannah, GA. He earned his bachelor's degree in cellular biology from the University of Georgia and his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. After completing a general pediatrics residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), including a chief resident year, he pursued a pediatric cardiology fellowship in Washington DC at Children's National Medical Center. Dr. Harden is board certified in both general pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. His clinical interests within the field of cardiology include general outpatient cardiology, fetal cardiology and preventative cardiology. He also has a strong interest in medical billing and coding. He serves as the primary cardiologist evaluating and treating patients in the Athens, Georgia clinic. Dr. Harden's greatest joy is his family, and he is married to his high school sweetheart and has two daughters.
