Introduction
Dongngan “Ngan” Truong, MD, MSCI, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine. She previously attended University of Connecticut School of Medicine for medical school and Pediatrics residency and University of Utah for Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship. She then completed a 4th year Fellowship in Echocardiography (2-dimensional and 3-dimensional) at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. Her clinical focus and research interests are in echocardiography, Kawasaki disease, and pediatric COVID-19 related cardiac diseases.
She serves as the Director of Innovative Imaging to advance technologies in pediatric cardiac imaging and helping to implement these technologies and modalities into clinical practice. She also leads multicenter studies on the long-term outcomes after multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children associated COVID-19 and post COVID-19 vaccine related myocarditis.
