Introduction

Mark Mai, MD MHS is a pediatric intensivist who is also board certified in clinical informatics. He completed both his critical care and informatics training at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where he also completed residency. Dr. Mai’s primary academic focus is on the study of predictive analytics for the critically ill child through collaborations with machine learning researchers and human factors engineers. He is also interested in using electronic health record (EHR) data to improve medical education and to accelerate quality improvement in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU).
