Introduction
Dr. Shah is a pediatric pulmonologist who has been working at Children's since 2015. His main clinical interests include general pulmonology, High Risk Asthma, and Infant Apnea. Dr. Shah is involved in research exploring the use of biomarkers to identify phenotypes and endotypes of severe asthma in children and adolescents. He is currently undergoing research related to apnea investigating the clinical characteristics of a cohort of infants and children on home apnea monitoring. Dr. Shah also has interests related to quality improvement projects related to asthma and cystic fibrosis. He is also the Medical Director of the Apnea Center. In his free time, Dr. Shah enjoys playing a variety of sports including basketball, tennis, and golf. As a Cleveland native, he is a proud Cleveland Browns fan and can be seen watching the games on Sundays donning the team's colors of orange and brown. He loves spending time with his family and friends and traveling the world. Dr. Shah enjoys working at Children's because of its positive values, relaxed and productive atmosphere, and commitment to excellence. As a pulmonary fellow graduate at Emory, he feels he received the best academic and clinical experiences throughout his training. Dr. Shah also enjoys living in Atlanta for its amazing diversity of people and food, great nightlife, and the beautiful outdoors.
