Introduction
Sampath Prahalad, MD, MSc, is the Division Chief of Rheumatology at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. He also serves as Marcus Professor of Pediatric Rheumatology and Professor of Pediatrics and Human Genetics at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Prahalad received a MSc from the University of Cincinnati, Diploma of Child Health (DCH) from Royal Collage of Physicians and a MBBS from Sri Venkateswara University Medical College in India.
Research
Dr. Prahalad’s career vision is to understand the epidemiology and genetics of childhood rheumatic diseases, specifically juvenile idiopathic arthritis and childhood onset systemic lupus erythematosus.
