Jeff Francoeur Home Run Derby
Jeff Francoeur Home Run Derby
Former Atlanta Braves outfielder Jeff Francoeur will host and pitch to batters in the sixth annual Home Run Derby on November 7th, at 10 a.m. at Truist Park to benefit the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Don't miss this great opportunity to entertain your clients, customers or employees and knock one out of the park for pediatric cancer and blood disorders. This is your chance to truly feel like a Braves player for a day.
Additional information:
Special guest emcee, Fox 5 meteorologist David Chandley, will announce each batter. In addition to their batters, each sponsor will have extra spots for guests to serve as fly ball shaggers in the outfield. The number of batters and shaggers is determined by the sponsorship level. A second home run fence will be set up in the outfield for the derby. Batters will have the opportunity to take batting practice in the cage under the stadium before the derby. The competition will be broken down into two rounds. During the first round, each batter will be allocated 10 outs - an out will be anything other than a home run. The top five batters will then advance to a championship round, where they will be given five outs. This second round will determine who will take home the title of Home Run Derby Champion. All participants will also be treated to a reception with Jeff Francoeur prior to the Braves vs. Nationals game on August 24th.
