Chattahoochee Class of 2004 Fundraiser and Golf Tournament benefiting Project S.A.V.E
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Project S.A.V.E. Program was created to prevent sudden cardiac death in children, teens, and young adults in Georgia communities by helping schools train staff, conduct practice drills, and place the correct number of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in the school.
The program was started in 2004 after three sudden cardiac arrests devastated Georgian communities the year prior. Unfortunately, our community and class were directly impacted by one of these devastating events. Ryan Boslet died after suffering from a cardiac arrest at Chattahoochee on February 20, 2003, forever changing the lives of his family and friends. One can only imagine where Ryan would be as we approach our 20-year class reunion if that fateful day had ended differently. He was a smart, kind and gentle soul who would certainly be making us all laugh.
In honor of Ryan, we would like to raise money to support Project S.A.V.E. to help prevent another class from experiencing this terrible tragedy. Please consider donating to support the program in providing training and equipment to schools and gym facilities around the state as they rely solely on donations to continue their amazing work.
We will also be hosting a golf tournament in Ryan’s honor. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Project SAVE on behalf of the Chattahoochee Class of 2004.
