How to Give an Honor or Memorial Gift

Give in memory

Remember and honor a loved one who has passed away with a memorial gift. Families may request memorial gifts, in lieu of flowers, to be directed to an area of your choosing at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. You can also adopt a digital woodland animal in your loved one’s name for our forest wall at Arthur M. Blank Hospital.

Give in Honor

From birthdays and anniversaries to graduations, weddings and religious celebrations, there’s no better way to recognize a special occasion and a special someone than a tribute gift to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Your thoughtful contribution is a gift that keeps giving, positively impacting the lives of kids and families throughout Georgia and beyond.

Recognize great care

Show your appreciation for a Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta caregiver by making a gift in their honor through our Grateful Families Program.

If you would like to direct gifts to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in an obituary, consider using this messaging in your request for memorial gifts:

With ongoing support from our donors, we can get closer to fulfilling our goal of giving every child the care they deserve—now and for years to come.

There are several ways we will communicate with you and the person you honor or their family about your gift.

  • For donations made by check, phone or online (non-eCard), the person you designate as recipient will be notified of your thoughtful gift by mail within two to three weeks.
  • If you choose to send an eCard, you can select the specific date on which the eCard will be sent to the person you designate as recipient.
  • You will also receive an email or postcard by mail confirming and acknowledging your donation for your own records.
