Your safety is our priority

Because the health and safety of our patients, visitors and staff is a priority, Children’s is:

  • Allowing two caregivers with each patient. No other family or visitors are allowed.
    • Effective April 1, patients receiving hospital laboratory and phlebotomy services may be accompanied by two visitors.
    • Lab treatment rooms and sleep lab studies will continue to allow one visitor
  • Requiring everyone to wear a mask at all times during their visit.
  • Practicing social distancing by staying 6 feet away from other patients and visitors.
  • Enhancing cleaning measures.

Children’s is dedicated to making the kids in Gwinnett County better today and healthier tomorrow by offering access to pediatric specialists in endocrinology, ear, nose and throat (ENT), gastroenterology, general surgery, hepatology, lab, radiology, rheumatology, and scoliosis and spine.

Children’s at Satellite Boulevard also offers ultrasound, overnight sleep studies and an Urgent Care Center. When your child has a minor injury or illness and your family's pediatrician is not available, the Children’s at Satellite Boulevard Urgent Care Center is here for you on evenings, weekends and holidays.

Diabetes

At Children’s Physician Group, our specialists know how diabetes can affect kids’ bodies. They also know how to put kids and families at ease—and how to encourage preventive care and self-management to prevent complications.

Endocrinology

The Children's Physician Group–Endocrinology team provides clinical, diagnostic and lab services for the evaluation and treatment of diabetes and other endocrine disorders.

Gastroenterology

At Children’s Physician Group, our team offers comprehensive services, including evaluation, diagnosis, management and treatment for children with a wide range of conditions, from reflux and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) to fatty liver disease.

General and Thoracic Surgery

The Children's Physician Group general surgery team offers comprehensive, advanced surgical care to infants (including newborns), children and teens with a wide variety of illnesses, conditions and injuries.

Clinic visits are by appointment only.

Hepatology

At Children's Physician Group, our team of pediatric trained hepatologists evaluates, diagnoses and treats children with a wide range of liver conditions.

Laboratory Services

Due to ongoing staffing challenges, Children’s has made temporary adjustments to lab operating hours. Please note, these hours are subject to change. We appreciated your continued support and patience as we navigate these current challenges.

  • Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; every other Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; closed Wednesday, Sunday and every other Saturday.
Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Otolaryngology

The Children’s Physician GroupENT (ear, nose and throat) team offers comprehensive services, including evaluation, diagnosis, management and treatment of children with a variety of disorders of the ears, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck.

Clinic visits are by appointment only.

Radiology

Walk-in X-ray appointments are available Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Weekdays: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Rheumatology

The Children's Physician Group–Rheumatology team is involved in the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care of children and teens with a wide range of rheumatic diseases. Our team also collaborates with our pediatric allergy and immunology practice to treat congenital (present at birth) immune deficiencies.

Clinic visits are by appointment only.

Sleep Disorders

Overnight sleep studies are held at this location. Sleep studies are used to see if a child has a sleep or breathing disorder. These tests check a child’s brain waves, breathing, heart rate and movements when he is sleeping.
