Children’s is dedicated to making the kids in Gwinnett County better today and healthier tomorrow by offering access to a variety of pediatric specialties in addition to urgent care services at our Children’s at Satellite Boulevard location.
Changes and Closures: Friday, Sept. 27
- All urgent care locations will open at 12 p.m.
- All clinic appointments are canceled
- The Zalik Behavioral and Mental Health Center appointments will be virtual.
- Elective surgeries are canceled and will be rescheduled.
Masking Policy
We are seeing an increase in very sick kids and teens. To help limit the spread of illness, all visitors over the age of 2 are required to wear a mask in our Urgent Cares and Emergency Departments.

Endocrinology
At Children's, our pediatric endocrinology team provides clinical, diagnostic and lab services for the evaluation and treatment of diabetes and other endocrine disorders. Clinic visits are by appointment only.
Gastroenterology
At Children’s, our team offers comprehensive services, including evaluation, diagnosis, management and treatment for children with a wide range of conditions, from reflux and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) to fatty liver disease.

At Children's, our team of pediatric general surgeons offers comprehensive, advanced surgical care to infants (including newborns), children and teens with a wide variety of illnesses, conditions and injuries.

- Hours: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., closed on Sunday

Nephrology
At Children's, our team of pediatric trained nephrologists treats children and teens who have a broad range of kidney problems—from common to complex.

Otolaryngology
The Children’s ENT (ear, nose and throat) team offers comprehensive services, including evaluation, diagnosis, management and treatment of children with a variety of disorders of the ears, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck.

Rheumatology
At Children's, our pediatric rheumatology team is involved in the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care of children and teens with a wide range of rheumatic diseases. Our team also collaborates with our pediatric allergy and immunology practice to treat congenital (present at birth) immune deficiencies.
Clinic visits are by appointment only.
Sleep Disorders
Overnight sleep studies are held at this location. Sleep studies are used to see if a child has a sleep or breathing disorder. These tests check a child’s brain waves, breathing, heart rate and movements when he is sleeping.
